    May 18, 2023 | The School of Education at ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ has received accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), an internationally recognized accrediting body that works to ensure excellence in education preparation programs.

    May 03, 2023 | The Master of Science in occupational therapy program at ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ has been approved for accreditation for a full seven-year term by the Accrediting Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

    May 03, 2023 | Breaking from tradition, ³Ô¹ÏȺÖÚ has selected two degree candidates as student speakers at this year’s Commencement Exercises, to be held Sunday, May 14, in the university’s Reilly Center.

    Mar 16, 2023 | Dr. Nate Smith, assistant professor of counselor education, gave a presentation titled "Watching Them Walk the Tightrope: Anti-LGBTQIA Youth Legislation Counseling Supervision & Ethics" at the 2023 Texas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Midwinter Conference in Georgetown, Texas.

    Mar 16, 2023 | Dr. Susan Branco, assistant professor of counselor education, was invited to present both virtually and in person to psychology doctoral students at Konrad Lorenz University, Bogotá, Colombia, South America, through the Association of Multicultural Counseling and Development, a division of the American Counseling Association.

    Feb 24, 2023 | Dr. Tyrone Bynoe, associate professor of education and director of educational leadership (advanced school supervisory preparation), has had a proposal accepted to author a chapter in an emerging book titled "Wellness Through Mentoring Within a Continuum of School Leadership Preparation." (In Kutsyuruba, B. & Kochan, F., Eds.. Mentoring for Wellbeing in Schools, Information Age Publishing.)
